About Us

For over 40 years, Cave Creek Welding has been building high quality steel work. Founded in 1979 by Jay Stenson. Cave Creek Welding is a small, family owned and operated company.

We provide the steel work that custom homes require, both in the construction phase, with pipe columns, I-beams, saddles, steel decking, weld plates, pocket door frames, standard and custom wood beam connections, road and driveway drainage grates and many more.

While also providing the ornamental iron detail that makes a home unique. Handrails, custom-designed gates; including front entryway and pool gates, fencing, spiral staircases and more. We make fireplace screens, along with iron blacksmithing and any design in steel or copper that you might want to enhance your home and add a work of art with your own personal touch.

We offer full field and shop welding, fabrication and repair. With a complete staff of certified welders. We also keep a reasonable stock of material for general sales. Stop by or take a look at our photos. We would be happy to serve you on your next project.

Had a leaking air tank on my semi truck. They not only fixed the leak, they cut rubber and doubled it up to insulate the tank from future damage. Shop is clean and professional, the guys figured it out together even though they don't usually weld semi trucks. Quoted labor rate accurately applied from the time they got under my trailer, $190 on the nose, I calculated 190 before checking out and that is what they charged me. Repair is holding airtight months later as I write this.
